Since Marsh 2010 there was the Forth National competition on best Russian essay, organised by the Russian Council of the Association of Learning Languages (ALL) and the Association of the Russian Teachers (Russian Teachers' Group UK).
The Birmingham Russian School took part in this competition for the first time and our student has won the Third Prize!
For the essay "The price of Victory" Yulia Petrova, a pupil in the senior class, has been awarded with the special Diploma, Russian books and DVDs. She received those prizes form the WWII veteran at the school's celebration of the 65th Victory Day Anniversary.
Other participants from our school have lso been awarded with Russian books and sweets at the school's celebration.
