Just as one would expect from a spring festival, the Russian Pancake Day and International Women's Day were celebrated by Birmingham Russian School and its branches in an uplifting atmosphere and with lots of fun. The children and their teachers sang songs, enjoyed traditional Russian dancing, watched a puppet show, played games, not forgetting to eat lots of tasty pancakes with a variety of toppings - including the caviar!
